#15 - fuck said the kernel - Two poems each by Rebecca Lu Kiernan and Carla Klein-Smith, a play by D. Bruno Starrs, a complete retroactive redesign of the whole six years worth of shite we're hoping you won't notice, the internet's first and only 'Hide' engine, and very little else of any worth at all.
It all now looks totally different than before. Many pages that used to be there are no longer there, while many other pages that weren't there before, now exist. Hopefully it all looks a little less shite too.
People keep trying to engage us in conversation about the war in the Gulf due to 'start' later this month. Since the Gulf War never actually ended, we are having extreme difficulty taking any kind of rational view about it pro or con, since there is no rational ground on either the side of people talking about starting a war (since there already is one) nor on the side of the people talking about stopping the war from starting (since it already started).
I'm on the side of the people who want to stop people killing people, which, according to them, that is, people, is just about everybody, especially themselves, except those awful other people, who want to keep killing people really, even though they deny it, which is also just about everybody, depending on who you listen to. The devil, as it were, and as ever, is in the details, only this time that really is the devil, and never mind the details.
take me away... please
