some of the most
spiritual people i know
are atheists
spreading the Word
of a Lord
who has no existence for them
with every smile
and kind gesture
praying each day
for humanity
to be born
while the worst of all blasphemers
hide - always - in religion
their stone-shielded churches
false beards of unpiety
bend the Word to their Will
with their orders to kill
this belief without heart
is what tears us apart
