where the angels tread

let the spirits take me
let them whisper in my ear

let the air i breathe release me
from these chains of fear

let me be reborn in air
where angels can appear

let the fire in my belly
purify my soul

let the heat of passion forge me
pure and clear and whole

let me be reborn in fire
where the angels stroll

let the ground beneath my feet
be real and aware

let the earth accept my love
in laughter and in prayer

let me be reborn in earth
with angels everywhere
