dreaming in doses
pretend i don't notice
the trail of petals
you're hiding from me
simple and lucid
unsmiling and bloated
the bad things i did
are setting me free
running for miles
unspoken. on wheels
the old hidden files
are now the front page
time an illusion
delay the explosion
but only collusion
can outlast this age
random i ramble
the walls start to crumble
i hide in a thimble
all curled in a ball
maybe you'll ring me
betray me and bring me
a song you can sing me
to cover it all
meaningless drivel
expand to a novel
let poetry shrivel
and pray for an end
only one answer
one question one parser
one series of queries
and rules we can bend
Little Black Book by Wayne Myers
