it's easy to belittle when you have no self-respect
like it's easy to write doggerel when completely fucking wrecked
if it's true that no-one can imagine better than themself
then be careful what you read and what you leave upon the shelf
and it's complicated when you try and implement ideas
'cos the world is too complex - all the neatness disappears
you can yell and you can scream but you won't always have your way
so thank god that failure can be sometimes what we need today.
